Nature School Programs for Homeschool Families
Discovery Junction blends intentional curriculum with real outdoor exploration. Choose the community closest to your family by service area, planned meeting day, and current enrollment status.
Parent-Present Nature School Ages 2–10
Every Discovery Junction gathering begins with a thoughtfully planned learning focus, but some of our best lessons are the ones nature creates for us.
Children get dirty, wet, sweaty, curious, and confident as they explore real ecosystems through hands-on, place-based learning.

🌻 Growing Future Leaders 🌻
Learning does not stop with our youngest explorers. Older homeschool students can develop leadership, responsibility, and real-world experience while mentoring younger children in outdoor learning environments.
Teen Mentors Ages 14–17
Teen mentors work alongside Discovery Junction guides, help younger learners investigate and explore, and build meaningful leadership experience. Eligible mentors may receive paid stipends and can include the experience in homeschool portfolios.
Volunteer Pathways Ages 11–17
Volunteers earn documented service hours while supporting younger students, assisting with activities, and helping build stronger homeschool communities.
Become Part of the Adventure
Whether you are looking for a nature-based learning community, hoping to mentor younger students, or wanting to volunteer, there may be a place for you at Discovery Junction.
